Massage Therapists

We create a plan for change.

Lois Miller, RMT

Body Tech Therapies Owner

Lois is a veteran in the massage industry spanning 16 years. Body Tech Therapies was opened in 2002 because she felt there was a need for a professional massage clinic that provides deep, therapeutic treatments.

Lois has taken many courses throughout the years with her main focus being neuromuscular therapy – anterior neck problems, origin/insertion techniques for neck and shoulders, and specific techniques to stabilize the pelvis and address sacroiliac problems. Recently, Lois has received training for TMJ dysfunctions (Temporomanibular Joint). This is exceptionally helpful for people who grind their teeth or clench. Headaches being a side effect of TMJ. L.A.S.T. (Ligamentous Articular Strain Technique) is a profound technique recently learned that addresses the root cause of most problems. Although this technique may be painful, the results are long lasting.

This clinic has been a lifelong dream of Lois's and she strives to provide the best continuing care for her clientele.

He has a background in Chinese energetics such as qigong, bagua zhang, and taijiquan. Dan is currently studying acupuncture through the College of Acupuncture and Therapeutics.

Diane graduated Professional Massage Therapy Institute in 2002. She has taken many courses over the years and has experience in Myofascial Release and Pre and Post Natal Massage (Mother and Baby Wellness). Diane has been with Body Tech Therapies ever since its inception in 2002.

Jordan Smith, RMT

Jordan graduated from McKay Career Training in 2009. Jordan was introduced to the John F. Barnes approach to myofascial release in school, and saw vast results within his treatments. Throughout his massage journey he has learned the importance of treating the body as a whole. He continues to this day to study myofascial release, and is always willing to share this therapy with others.

What is myofascial release?

Our myofascial system is an intricate 3D-web that is our only whole body system. Trauma, inflammation, and/or surgical procedures create myofascial restrictions that can cause pressure on our pain sensitive structures.

Myofascial release helps with:
  • Postural imbalance
  • Migraines
  • Torsioned Pelvis
  • Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ)
  • Adhesions
  • Surgical scars
  • Sciatica
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Whiplash, and many more.
Jordan believes with the right therapy/therapies, we can all return to a pain free lifestyle again. "Patients don't care what you know, until they know that you care."

Zandria Ash Lawrence, RMT

Zandria is a graduate of Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in Regina. In late 2009, she and her husband moved to Saskatoon, and in March 2010, she started working at Body Tech Therapies. She now has two little girls who are a joy to be with, and prevent her from working full time, for now.

Over the years, she has taken many massage courses, including, but not limited to: Pre & Post Event Sports Massage, Muscle Energy Techniques for pelvis, upper and lower body, Myofascial release for neck and back, whiplash recovery, Soft Tissue Release, TMJ, Reiki, shoulder injury and rehab, cadaver labs, and more. She has also attended many interesting talks and conferences, increasing her knowledge about different injuries, techniques, and modalities. She enjoys learning about the body and new ways to help her clients.

Although she also enjoys doing relaxation, she usually gives a fairly deep massage focusing on patterns of dysfunction, postural influence, and "fixing" the cause of the problem.

Gail Wolff, RMT

Gail has been in the massage industry for many years. She works casual hours at Body Tech mainly Saturdays. Her focus is deep tissue massage and enjoys helping her clients with their individual concerns.
